Double Chance

Double Chance is a 1X2 variant where you back two of the three possible match outcomes in a single bet. It reduces risk substantially compared with picking a single outcome, but in return, the odds are short — often between 1.20 and 1.60.

The three Double Chance options

• 1X — home win or draw • X2 — away win or draw • 12 — home win or away win (draw loses)

The 12 option is sometimes called "no draw" and is most useful in derbies or matches where both sides need to attack.

When to use Double Chance

Double chance is best when you are confident a team will not lose but unsure whether they will win outright — common in away fixtures against weaker opposition or in derbies where draws are common. It is also useful when laddering small stakes for accumulators.

Final3rd outputs a double chance probability for every match alongside the standard 1X2 prediction, so you can directly compare value.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Double Chance and Draw No Bet?

+

Draw No Bet refunds your stake on a draw. Double Chance pays out on a draw — which is why DNB usually offers better odds than the equivalent Double Chance line.
